Wisconsin Gestational Surrogacy
Choose a local Wisconsin surrogacy agency that was founded on personal experience.
At The Surrogacy Experience we all have personal experience in one form or another with gestational surrogacy/family building. Our agency was founded on the personal experience of Blair Sullivan, who worked with a gestational carrier to complete her family. We believe this is not just a business, but a very emotional and intimate process for all involved. Owner, Tina Dettlaff, is a native of Wisconsin and has been a gestational carrier twice herself. She uses that experience to ensure that the surrogacy journey is harmonious and as stress-free as possible. Our agency works as a team to support our Surrogate Mothers and Intended Parents from decision to post delivery.
We welcome the opportunity to answer any questions you may have and to share why our team's customer service and support sets us apart!
Becoming an Intended Parent in Wisconsin
The Surrogacy Experience is a gestational surrogacy agency committed to providing Wisconsin intended parents with the information and support needed to explore and ultimately embark on the very personal journey to achieve your family dream. Each journey is unique in its expectations and we take the time to develop our relationship with all of our clients, so we can understand their desires and needs.
We understand that surrogacy can be a challenging and emotional process to navigate, but with the right support it can be a positive and joyous experience for all involved. Working with the right surrogacy agency is imperative in guiding you through the surrogacy journey.
Our "boutique" approach will give you the personalized service and support that you deserve. Your dedicated coordinator will be with you every step of the way and you will never be passed from agent to agent. We are very conscience that surrogacy is an expensive endeavor and offer a flat fee for our all-inclusive services. And for the safety of our gestational carriers and security for our parents, all carrier candidates go through a rigorous pre-screening process prior to them entering into our surrogacy program. So once you are matched, you can move right into the medical side of surrogacy.
The goal in creating The Surrogacy Experience is simple; we want to help intended parents on their journey to fulfill their family dream.
Becoming a Surrogate Mother in Wisconsin
The decision to become a surrogate mother is one that will affect your whole family. With an overwhelming amount of ads promising various compensation amounts and focused support, who do you trust?
At The Surrogacy Experience we understand because we have been there. Owner, Tina Dettlaff was a gestational carrier for two families. While living in Wisconsin she worked with parents that were states away. She understands the support a surrogate mother needs in all steps of the process. Whether it is deciding if surrogacy is right for you, education on the surrogacy process, managing the relationship with the intended parents and more, we are your guide and support. Our focus is on mutual matching and building a relationship based on values, beliefs and expectations. Due to our pre-screening process you will never sit in a database waiting for a match. Our carriers begin their journey as soon as screening is completed.
Just as one journey varies from person to person, so does your financial expectations. At The Surrogacy Experience we do not place a cap on your desired compensation. We will provide you with industry standards based on your specific details and we will always be transparent. Regardless of your desired compensation and benefit amount you will receive outstanding customer service and support even beyond delivery.
Surrogacy Laws in Wisconsin
Gestational Surrogacy contracts are permitted in Wisconsin. However, depending on your specific situation there are considerations that must be reviewed and discussed with a Reproductive Attorney.
At The Surrogacy Experience we have a network of Reproductive Attorneys that can work with you during the contract drafting and negotiation process for the Gestational Carrier Agreement, as well as the Declaration of Parentage process. We work closely with these attorneys to provide them with pertinent information specific to your journey and to help manage important timelines.
In Wisconsin it is common to undergo a two-step process during the declaration of parentage process: 1) the pre-birth order, which some refer to as the "interim" order; 2) the final order, once the child(ren) are born to obtain the birth certificate. How this process is managed can be county specific, as well as if you are genetically related to the child, are in a hetero or same-sex marriage or if you are from a different country. Having a knowledgeable attorney at the beginning of your journey will help you be informed and prepared.
