Every Journey is Unique, but the desire to have a child is the same
At The Surrogacy Experience, we welcome Intended Parents of a variety of backgrounds – couples and singles, straight and gay, spanning a wide range of ages and nationalities. We strive to provide all Intended Parents the information and resources needed to explore gestational surrogacy and achieve their family dream. We fully understand that same sex couples face unique legal and medical circumstances, challenges and choices, when they turn to surrogacy for family building. We are committed to helping you take these circumstances into account, guide you through the options you face and overcome any challenges, as well as make this a positive experience for all involved.
Special Considerations for Same-Sex Couples
We know that the dynamics of matching couples with surrogates and fostering a relationship between the families can be different when the Intended Parents are both male. We know how to match you with a surrogate that will be fully motivated to help you become parents, and we also make sure her partner and immediate family will be supportive.
We maintain a relationship with top rated clinics with extensive experience in working with gay parents. We will only refer you to a clinic that has established protocols and guidelines developed to suit the unique needs of same sex couples and singles. Our clinics are not just respectful, warm and flexible when working with same sex intended parents, but also know how to help you both become biological parents (simultaneously or sequentially). We know how to accommodate the specific considerations gay couples may have regarding the choice of egg donors, including possibly having a desire to meet and even stay in touch with their donor over time.
At The Surrogacy Experience we guide Intended Parents throughout the process from decision through post-delivery, including safe return home as a family. We are fully aware of the need to devise ahead of time an effective legal strategy for each same-sex couple/parent to ensure that full parental rights are achieved. We also understand the legal and cultural considerations international intended gay couples may have. Our network of qualified legal experts will help educate you about the legal options and considerations that are unique to your circumstances, including your marital status and where you reside. They will advise you about issues such as which states are most surrogacy friendly, should you consider using a pre-birth order and/or second parent adoption, and what the documentation and supportive legal measures will be required to make the process smooth and efficient. Later on in the journey, we will match you with a qualified local counsel to assist you in executing this legal strategy prior to and immediately following the birth.
It is the goal of our surrogacy agency to provide the highest level of service while being as transparent and comprehensive as possible. If you have any questions, please contact us.

The Surrogacy Experience (TSE) is a gestational surrogacy agency that was founded on personal experience. The founder of the agency, with the support of her fertility clinic, welcomed her first daughter into the world through IVF. She later went on to explore surrogacy and along with her surrogate mother, welcomed her second daughter. The Managing Principal has been a surrogate mother twice herself and uses that experience to help our clients. With this foundation, our surrogacy program is a boutique approach to bringing Intended Parents and Surrogate Mothers together on a surrogacy journey. Along with the support of our network partners we provide up-to-date information and education on such items as: what is surrogacy and the surrogacy process, becoming a surrogate mother / surrogate mother requirements, surrogate mother compensation, things to know as an intended parent, surrogacy medical process / medical procedures, how to find a surrogacy agency, surrogate laws / surrogacy laws, international surrogacy, and navigating gay surrogacy. Surrogacy information is out there, but finding the right gestational surrogate agency will help you decide if surrogacy is right for you. Let The Surrogacy Experience be your source of education and information.
